Shipping Information

We currently ship to the UK Mainland only!!
Our shipments are sent via Tracked Royal Mail and DPD.
We aim to ship all orders next business day after you have placed your order. Most packages arrive within 24 hours after shipping, however this is not a guaranteed service by Royal Mail so we recommend you allow up to 48 hours to receive your package. This service is available when your cart contains small chilled and/or ambient products and the total weight is less than 2kg.
 
For PERISHABLE products, once you have decided to purchase either of these items then it would be wise to choose a 24Hour shipping service at checkout.

Perishable (CHILLED) Products include:

  • CHILLED Caribbean Patties
  • CHILLED Pizzas
   Once you have decided to purchase PIZZAS or PATTIES, DPD 24 Hour     (TRACKED) will automatically be selected at checkout.

    All orders containing perishable items should be placed by 6 PM on Saturdays in order to be shipped out the following Monday to arrive on Tuesday. We have one alternative shipping day, THURSDAYS, if you want to have a Thursday delivery then email us at hello@islandlovegourmet.com.



    Shipping Terms
    Please Note: When creating an order, any orders containing any perishable products, you must select a 24 hour TRACKED shipping service at checkout.
    • All orders containing perishable items are sent via Royal Mail 24 (Tracked) service to ensure they are delivered as soon as possible.
    • All orders over 2KG (2000g) are shipped via DPD (Tracked) Next Day UK Delivery.

     

    Shipping Costs

    Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on the weight and dimensions of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.

     Terms and Conditions for Chilled(Perishable) Items

    All of our chilled products are perishable items. Please bear in mind that when you make a purchase from us you agree to the following: 

    • You must ensure someone is available to receive your package within 24 hours.
    • If you cannot be home, please request the courier to deliver to your neighbour. If you use this option, it must be done as soon as you receive the very first message from the courier. If you change your mind on delivery date, make sure call us on 07810661991 by 8 AM (Monday) to postpone your order. Remember that after your order is dispatched, your package must be delivered within 24 hours.
    • Once you receive your package, take out the chilled products and place them in the fridge immediately.
    • If you change the delivery date, address or any information that might delay your parcel, we are no longer liable, and we will not be able to process any refund or exchanges  
    • Any discrepancy, signs of deterioration, damage or anything unusual with the products must be reported within 24 hours from delivery (Pictures must be provided)  
    • You agree that even though all parcels with chilled items are sent on a 24 hours delivery service, there are some circumstances beyond our power where the parcel cannot be delivered on time, some examples are: Weather Conditions, Traffic, Road works, Christmas period, Van Failures.
    • If the parcel is in transit for more than 24 hours, the products will be safe even when the temperature is not below 8 degrees.
    • If you authorize our couriers to leave your parcel in a safe place, we accept no responsibility if it goes missing, please collect your parcel as soon as possible.
